Description:
We are hiring an experienced manager to work with residential and commercial customers including farms who want to reduce costs and improve environmental performance through electric and natural gas energy efficiency measures. The Manager will lead a team of technical sales and operational staff to achieve CET’s mission impact goals, ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, and deliver high levels of customer and client satisfaction. The focus of the position is on staff coaching, client liaison, business development and operational delivery.

• Using a hands-on approach, manage the team to identify and document energy saving opportunities to meet program requirements and directives and CET’s sales goals. Ensure team is equipped with the appropriate skills and training. Provide guidance to the department in identifying technical solutions and navigating the commercial and industrial program offerings.
• Instill an entrepreneurial approach in order to create and expand the opportunities conducted with existing and new clients, and to deploy the full range of services in our portfolio. Develop a business plan identifying sales targets, revenue, and expense controls to meet program goals and promote the organization’s presence throughout the region.
• Provide outreach, education and technical assistance throughout the consultation process. Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction. Manage a long life cycle to close sales in energy reduction measures.
Requirements:
This is a full-time salaried exempt position with benefits. To qualify, you must have a Bachelor’s degree, MBA / Business school / technical school or equivalent experience preferred. You should have strong influential leadership and collaboration skills and a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience. You should have a minimum 2 years commercial energy efficiency work experience and ideally a combination of building service sales and operations and project management. You will need working knowledge or ability to learn state and federal energy programs and incentives.

You must be well-organized, be able to work independently and track and report results. You should be flexible, reliable, self-directed, an excellent listener and have a proficient work ethic.
