Job Description: Sales Coordinator
Pioneer Valley Hotel Group / Hadley Farms Meeting House
Applicant must be able to work independently, communicate well, thrive in a high energy, fastpaced
environment and be extremely detail-oriented.
Key responsibilities:
• Typing contracts & letters to clients
• Answering emails and phone messages
• Coordinating with a client on event details
• Conduct tours of the venue
• Effective communication with all staff and management
• Entering events & details into the catering software to produce contracts & reports
• Maintaining calendars of booked business
• Solid knowledge of all hotels within the group, as well as the competition
• Creating Sales Kits
• Creating limited marketing materials & ad copy
• Punctual, positive attitude
• Must be very organized
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to be creative
• Two year or four year college degree preferred
• Fluent in English: excellent in written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)
• 1-3 years experience in restaurant or banquet industry is preferred
• Occasional weekend and evening for trade shows
• Present a professional appearance and confidence
