We are hiring male-female or nonbinary facilitator teams to conduct our Department of Public Health certified groups. As a Group Facilitator, you will be able to oversee culturally specific intervention groups that work to change the beliefs and attitudes of abusive men on a weekly basis. Group Facilitators will also be able to conduct intake assessments and ensure that the assessments, notes, completions, and termination are kept up to date. You will be able to use your social services education and experience and communicate directly with collaborating Victim Advocates and Survivor Leadership Council. The work will be accountable to a local Survivor Leadership Council and to your supportive supervision team. The Proteus program at Behavioral Health Network is a Springfield-based, culturally specific Proteus Intimate Partner Abuse Education Program for African American and Latino men who are committed to becoming safe and accountable relationship partners. Individuals within the program meet for two hours weekly to change their beliefs and attitudes regarding domestic violence for the better.
