We are an independent, non-profit school serving children age 6 months through 12 years. Our substitutes work alongside classroom teachers and are called on for shifts in classrooms of varied ages. The ideal candidate will: Possess interest or experience in Montessori education Have previous experience working with young children Be willing to work on an as-needed basis Be a timely and reliable team player Duties: Assist classroom teachers in implementing the daily routine Attend to the safety and physical well-being of each child Maintain a clean and safe environment Our substitutes receive regular requests based on the hours and days they have listed themselves as available. The most common substitute shifts are 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Hourly rate is $11.00- $14.00 per hour and is dependent upon experience and certification.
