The Residential Assistant is responsible for overseeing students’ daily activities as assigned by the Director of Residential Life. Residential Assistants model appropriate behavior both on campus and during community outings. They are also responsible for promoting independence by assisting with daily living skills, reinforcing appropriate social relationships, and assisting students with community awareness and safety. Requirements: Education Requirements: High School Diploma required. Minimum Experience Required: Experience with and/or sensitivity to individuals with special needs. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Effective judgment and decision-making skills • Certified in or able to obtain CPR, First Aid, and State of Massachusetts Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification • Valid driver's license • Must be able to pass CORI background check Full-time and part-time hours are available, including weekends and overnight.
