JOB DESCRIPTION
The Internship Program Manager will coordinate numerous programs across half of our 13 internship locations. In addition, the Program Manager will work with the Assistant Vice-President of Enrollment Management to oversee the internship policy and procedures at CISabroad. The Internship Program Manager will handle difficult onsite situations as they arise and be the main contact for our Plymouth State University Internship for Credit program. Internships are a main focus at CISabroad right now, so the Internship Program Manager can expect to help move internships forward in many ways. This includes playing a key role in the assessment and program development of all intern programs and helping to deliver training and support to the rest of the organization regarding internships. As the internship team grows there will be room for growth and expansion. The successful candidate will work effectively as a member of a team, be able to provide direction and leadership, delegate, and possess strong organizational skills.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
--Internship Coordination (Dublin, Rome, Sydney, Wellington, Chiang Mai, Beijing, and Shanghai)
o Oversee the advising and application process for the above locations
o Work with CISabroad staff in each of the above countries to implement an efficient and seamless advising process, from interview to placement.
o Advise students on financial aid and create invoices
--Marketing/Recruitment
o Stay abreast of internship competitors and market trends
o Suggest new programs and participate in pricing strategy discussions
o Ensure the way we are marketing, recruiting, and admitting students is a smooth process with a high level of customer service
o Work with executive management to drive growth for CISabroad Internships
--Training and Maintenance of Information
o Be the internal ‘go to’ person at CISabroad for internships
o Train staff on new policies and procedures relating to internships
--Manage Intern-for-Credit Process
o Maintain Internships for credit policies and procedures
o Update Standard Operating Procedure documents
o Be the go to person for internships for credit questions
o Be the contact for Plymouth State University, CISabroad, and Faculty
--Program Development and Quality Control
o Review internship policies and procedures
o Compile evaluations on internships after enrollment cycles
o Remain current on internship issues and employ strategies for efficient resolution
o Make sure that CISabroad stays in line with current trends and best practices
o Work on the development of new programs in new and current locations
o Develop and implement strategies that create consistency and standardization among all CISabroad internship programs

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS
o Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in the field of international education
o Demonstrated superior customer service skills
o Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
o Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
o Demonstrated success in a fast-paced office environment
o Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
o Previous international experience and demonstrated passion for international education
o Previous experience leading projects
o Desire to grow within the organization
o Must have traveled, studied or lived abroad

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
o Experience working with internship, volunteer, or service learning programs
o Functional knowledge of Skype and Google platforms a plus
o Past experience working in online databases
