Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Medical Assistant at the Hope Center at Behavioral Health Network! Medical Assistants at Behavioral Health Network coordinate with psychiatrists and APRNs to provide assessments of individuals served prior to their medical appointments and to identify, evaluate, and respond to changes in individuals’ conditions. They work closely with medication, distributing and administering individuals’ medication, taking medication orders from psychiatrists and APRN for the pharmacy, and providing education to individuals regarding their medication or other health issues. Additionally, Medical Assistants schedule filling appointments with prescribers, maintain supplies, equipment and sample medications, and measure and record vital signs as needed.

Requirements:
Medical Assistants at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:
• Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Internet, word processing and email systems.
• At least one year experience working with a psychiatric population (required).
• Medical Assistant Certificate or Degree.
• Spanish speaking applicants encouraged to apply.
