The Western Massachusetts Training Consortium’s Home & Community Connections is currently seeking to hire a Lead Staff to work in South Hadley/Palmer/Belchertown are within our Individual Supports Model. The Lead Staff member provides direct care and support to persons with developmental disabilities in their homes & their communities, while providing support to the Program Manager in day to day operations of the home where they work. This position is key to helping the people we support to attend their doctor appointments and daily community activities. This position is considered full-time at 32 hours per week with the possibility to work up to 40 hours per week. |
Requirements: |
Requirements for the position include: A high school diploma/G.E.D; a minimum of six months’ direct care experience working with people with developmental disabilities and/or Autism; a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation is a must; MAP, CPR and First Aid certification will be offered as part of your training.
