Position: Direct Care Staff Part-Time
Location: Holyoke, MA (with some travel to Florence, Turners Falls and other communities as needed)
Rate of Pay: $14 per hour
Hours: Up to 25 hours per week
Schedule: Schedule varies based on programmatic need, includes nights, weekends, and overnight shifts.

Part-Time Direct Care Staff Summary: The Direct Care Staff assists individuals with disabilities in daily living skills to achieve greater independence and self-fulfillment. The Direct Care Staff implements the organization’s mission and values by supporting individuals to make positive changes in their lives.

Part-Time Direct Care Staff Qualifications: High School/GED plus 1 year related experience and/or training. One year supervisory or human service experience desired. Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations.

Part-Time Direct Care Staff Requirements: Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email and internet essential. Valid driver’s license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle with compulsory auto insurance and vehicle registration, and willingness to transport program members in personal and/or agency vehicle. Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, and community organizations.
