At BHN’s Valley Human Services program in Ware, MA, Outpatient Clinicians have a significant impact on the lives of people in the Ware, Palmer, and Belchertown communities by providing high-quality direct outpatient services in a vibrant, collaborative setting. Outpatient Clinicians service adults, children, adolescents, and families onsite and use intake evaluations to analyze and recommend individualized treatment options. In addition, Outpatient Clinicians maintain direct service productivity and participate in clinical team reviews by completing comprehensive clinical assessments and applying recommendations. Outpatient Clinicians have access to a number of free BHN trainings and develop a working knowledge of community resources to provide to the people they serve. Supervision is provided based on Outpatient Clinician’s individual needs. Additionally, the position allows the flexibility for Outpatient Clinicians to create their schedule to accommodate their needs, working as many or few hours as they would like. The Valley Human Services program recently joined the family of Behavioral Health Network services. This union allows BHN to aid a wider population across Western Massachusetts for outpatient mental health treatment. Requirements: Outpatient Clinicians at Behavioral Health Network’s VHS program have the following qualities: • Broad knowledge of mental health diagnoses and evidence treatment techniques. • Familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems. • Experience providing clinical services with children, adolescents, and adults required. • Independent licensure (LICSW, LMHC or LMFT) or actively working towards a license. • Minimum of a Master’s degree in a mental health field.
