Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as the Educational & Vocational Specialist in the PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment) program at Behavioral Health Network!

Educational and Vocational Specialists monitor the health and well-being of individuals served and assists with all aspects of medication treatment and administration. They will complete initial assessments, treatment plans and reviews, financial management plans, serve as the primary case manager for assigned caseload, and act as primary implementer of strategies. Assisting individuals served, Educational and Vocational Specialists will provide outreach services, benefit’s counseling (e.g.: SSI, veteran’s benefits) and maintain and enhance their social support network. Additionally, the Educational and Vocational Specialist will plan and provide work-related supportive services, such as assistance with job seeking, grooming and personal hygiene, wake-up calls, transportation, rehabilitation, job coaching, problem solving and support to the individuals served. They will provide individual vocational-supportive counseling to enable individuals to identify vocational strengths and problems, establish vocational or career goals and plans to reach them, and recognize and target symptoms of mental illness that interfere with work. When required, Educational and Vocational Specialists will provide crisis intervention and emergency services. Requirements:
Educational & Vocational Specialists at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:
• Individuals must be committed to empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration of individuals served.
• Minimum of six months experience in human services preferred.
• Master’s Degree in Vocational / Rehabilitation Counseling.
• Must have valid driver's license and a reliable car available for working hours.
• Must obtain and maintain MAP certification within introductory period of employment.
• Available to work on weekends, second shifts and holiday, as needed and serve as a part of 24/7 on-call rotation.
