Valley Medical Group is currently looking for a full time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at our Greenfield Health Center location. Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Location: Greenfield Hours: 8am to 5pm with an occasional Saturday as part of the Urgent Care rotation. Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the RN Team Leader, the Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to patients using clinical skills and procedures within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act. As the LPN you will manage all types of messages (phone calls; PORTAL messages, patient cases) and will respond to all within 24 hours and document all interactions in the EMR. The Licensed Practical Nurse will also communicate effectively with providers in reviewing daily appointments and to maintain patient flow. Duties also include preparation of patients for the office visit by getting accurate vital signs, taking a history, doing medication reconciliation and reviewing allergies.
