Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing & Client Services Assistant is responsible for carrying out tasks related to the logistics of ensuring that our advertised events, contractual events, and conferences are successful. Such tasks include maintaining data in various databases, packing and shipping materials, communication with internal and external customers, and on-site event logistics.

PRIMARY DUITIES & RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:
Event Logistics – Advertised and Contractual
• Monitors and responds to shipping que for upcoming events
• Packs and ships event materials for advertised, contractual, and external conferences from the RC Shipping Center and schedules and receives all return shipments for advertised events
• Enters shipment tracking information made from the RC Shipping Center and the CRS warehouse into the shipping database
• Communicates with consultants and customers about shipping and advertised event details
• Arranges lodging for consultants and other CRS staff for advertised events
• Assists the Event Planner in planning advertised events, including researching and scheduling dates and locations
• Processes invoices for event materials, including resource books and other books needed for workshop and conference participants
• Maintains department filing systems
• Maintains organization of all event materials in the RC Shipping Center
• Monitors and communicates needs for inventory of materials housed in the RC Shipping Center to supervisor
• Prepares nametags, materials, certificates, and registration lists for events
• Responds to customer requests for reprints of event certificates and ensures they get to the customer in a timely manner
• Receives and processes contractual registration forms, entering data in CRM and sending certificates to customer
• Develops and maintains familiarity with all CRS workshop materials to ensure proper packaging and shipping for events
• Picks up and delivers mail at Post Office, opens, and distributes the mail within CRS
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor necessary to meet workflow requirements
Marketing
• Assists with putting together and sending email campaigns and direct mail initiatives to promote products and services
• Disseminates press releases and marketing packets as requested by supervisor
• Follows up with leads from marketing conferences via email and passes on leads to the School Services Coordinator as relevant
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years related work experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Highly organized with high attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Ability to work well in a highly collaborative environment
• The ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Interest in education and organization’s mission
• Some travel is required
• Regular and reliable attendance
