Eppendorf is looking for a Director, Regional Marketing; an integral member of the Marketing team in Hauppauge, NY!
 
Key responsibilities of role
Leads a team of Marketing Managers (MMRs) across multiple Areas, Products and Topics in the Market Region and ensure Eppendorf’s Mission, Vision and Values are realized
In parallel acts as a regional Marketing Manager for a specified Product Group or market/Geography Topic
Contribute to the annual Regional Operational Marketing Plan in close collaboration with the global marketing team and the Regional Sales team
Coordinate planning and execution of all marketing activities in the Market Region, for product specific and cross-product marketing activities and campaigns
Ensure successful execution of product launches in the Region (end to end responsibility) and coordinate alignment with Global Operational Marketing and the regional Sales organization
Oversee development of customer and application specific sales support materials, incl. trainings in all categories, based on global guidelines and content, oversee execution of trainings
Develop, manage and control adherence to the regional annual marketing budget, including advertising, promotion, and exhibition expenses
Account for marketing, travel and other expenses generated by the Operational Marketing in the regional marketing team
Establish metrics and KPIs to measure and monitor success and constantly monitor achievement of staff performance goals
Support all Human Resources processes and procedures to ensure compliant, engaged and motivated marketing team, conduct performance reviews of MMR members and make recommendations of personnel actions in line with the company strategy
Empower the regional marketing team within the matrix organization, being a role model (behavior, mindset)
Actively engages and cultivates relationships with all relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth processes, including but not limited to product launch, market intelligence, competitor approached
Establishes a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
Mentors and develops staff, establishes and monitors staff performance goals, assigns accountabilities, sets objectives and priorities
Requirements:
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
Minimum of 7 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and/or advertising, including working in small and mid-size teams
Life science industry experience in an international environment
