Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Recovery Specialist at the Hope Center at Behavioral Health Network! As a Recovery Specialist, you will support the growth, independence, and safety of the individuals we serve. You will oversee individuals’ activities to ensure compliance with program rules and policies, providing guidance when needed. You will complete safety checks and client rounds and document incoming medications and provide assistance during scheduled medication passes throughout the day. Recovery Specialists occasionally facilitate diverse psycho-educational groups, provide crisis intervention and emergency services when needed, and provide transportation for clients with insured company and/or personal registered personal vehicles, as needed.

Other responsibilities of Recovery Specialists include communicating with other staff members as needed and completing program specific documentation such as incident reports and contact notes, as well as reporting specific safety concerns. Recovery Specialists at BHN work collaboratively with program counselors and supervisors to ensure quality of services for individuals served. They learn to work as a collaborative team with the goal of delivering high quality sound clinical treatment. Recovery Specialists will grow through ongoing training and firsthand experience that will enhance their skills and provide additional employment opportunities.

Requirements:
Recovery Specialists at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:
• Individuals must be committed to client empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration.
• Must be in successful recovery for two or more years.
• Minimum of one year experience working with substance abuse population.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid Driver’s License.
