Quality Assurance Inspectors Needed!!
Location: Pelican Products, 147 North Main Street, South Deerfield, MA
Job Type: Temporary, long-term
Category: Manufacturing - Quality Department
Shifts Available: 2nd & 3rd (2nd shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm) & (3rd shift 10:00pm - 6:00am)
Perform first article, in-process and final products' inspection procedures and also including incoming materials, returned and reworked goods for a variety of Company products to ensure customer and Pelican quality standards and proper documentation.
Flexibility in work schedule is required including the ability to work extended hours as operational needs require.
This position is subject to a criminal background check, drug screen and E-Verification as part of the application process. Employment contingent upon successful completion of background investigation and drug screening required.

•Work from electronic or paper customer and/or Pelican drawings and specifications: established inspections methods, techniques, procedures; written and verbal instructions.
•Perform dimensional, visual and other procedural checks and tests. Test and check finished products, subassemblies, component parts where a variety of sizes, shapes, weights, and materials are inspected.
•Inspection duties may involve one or several production and work area including receiving, quality control area, fabrication, high heat, roto cast, injection molding.
•Inspections of products, parts are first piece, designated by procedure or randomly sampled. Check components, final products, for conformity to commercial and/or military purchaser specifications, drawings, tolerances, dimensions, hole locations, function ability, foreign materials, and other pertinent characteristics as instructed.
•Calibrate testing devices.
•Notify supervisor or others as appropriate of inspection failures and/or out of tolerances/specifications situations.
•Maintain established quality and quantity standards. Follow prescribed safety precautions, established company and department policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and questionable conditions to proper supervision. Maintain work area(s) and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
•Maintain daily production and other records as required.
•Perform other related duties as required or directed.
