|Position: Life Skills Coordinator Full-Time|
Location: Springfield, MA
Rate of Pay: $14 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Full-Time Life Skills Coordinator Summary: Provide support and training to work with members in accordance with ISP goals and objectives. Work directly with and alongside adults with profound physical disabilities and developmental delays on social and communication skills, activities of daily living, and building esteem. Organize, coordinate, implement, and structure activity units to provide such opportunities for program members. Assist with personal care, participation in community activities, and wheelchair transference.
|Full-Time Life Skills Coordinator Qualifications: High School/Hi-Set required with at least one year of human service experience, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field and one year developmentally disabled experience preferred.|
Full-Time Life Skills Coordinator Requirements: Computer skills with a minimum knowledge of Word and Excel. Must have a valid MA driver's license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of a vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal and/or agency vehicle. Must be able to lift and transfer members up to 150 pounds. Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices and community organizations.
