Seasonal Positions

Counselors
Counseling staff live with campers in cabins for the full summer. In addition to mentoring campers, they lead cabin and program activities and provide leadership for Unit/Village Activities.

Program Staff

Our talented group of Program Instructors at Camp Becket and Chimney Corners lead specialty activities at camp. They also plan and lead special events. Program areas we hire for at each of our camps include:

Ad-Staff
This small group of experienced leaders guides the campers and staff at Camp Becket and Chimney Corners. Positions include Program Directors, Aides Directors, and Unit/Village Directors. Applications for these positions are typically invite-only.

Travel and Service Trip Leaders

TSP Leaders co-lead our 28-36 day international or domestic travel programs for our teen campers that focus on leadership development, service-learning, and environmental/cultural exploration. Current ICEP locations include Chile, Uruguay, Peru, New Zealand, Japan, Sweden, and Spain. All trip experiences include travel, interaction with teens/youth, service projects, and cultural learning experiences.

Day Camp Counselors
Work with local youth in our summer day camp program. Children aged from 6 to 15 years old spend one-week sessions with us. Staff work for a period of 9-10 weeks during the months of June, July, and August.

Support Staff
Our support staff does the important work behind the scenes to make sure everything at camp runs smoothly. From preparing nutritious meals and keeping camp clean and well-maintained, our support team makes camp the best it can be. Lots of effort is also made to integrate and immerse Support Staff into every aspect of our camp culture and to participate in everyday camp activities. All positions would ideally be filled for a period of 10-11 weeks during the months of June, July, and August.

Medical and Wellness Staff

Each of our camps has a dedicated team of professionals that provide care for our camp communities. From providing physical care and support to maintaining our community’s mental health, this team is a central pillar of a successful summer and making sure the camp experience is the best it can be. All positions would ideally be filled for a period of 10-11 weeks during June, July, and August.
