The Assistant Program Director will be responsible for the effective day-to-day functioning of the residential milieu. Duties include individual supervision to Residential Supervisors and Lead Residential Counselors, hire, train, and evaluate residential supervisors and staff, and coordinate treatment plan meetings and schedule of family visits. Other responsibilities include coordination of funds regarding the day-to-day operation of the milieu, completion of program and client documentation, and the maintenance of the electronic program calendar for client appointments. This position requires on-call coverage. Qualifications include the following: • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent direct experience of at least five years. • At least 2 years of supervisory experience. • Reliable transportation. • Must be 21 years old. • Approved CORI, DCF, and driving background checks. • Broad knowledge of non-profit administration and child protective systems.
