To be successful as a Small Engine Technician/Assembly Technician, you have a mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn, are energetic, have an excellent work ethic, a positive attitude, and be conscientious with an eye for detail. Responsibilities Include: -Assemble new outdoor power equipment from string trimmers to commercial zero-turn mowers. -Knowledge of how to operate most pieces of outdoor power equipment. -Demonstrate use of new equipment to customers. -Perform routine maintenance to small engines and lawn equipment when not assembling equipment. -Keep work area clean and organized. -Housekeeping of all shop common areas and other duties as assigned. Requirements: Skills/Qualifications: -Should have basic mechanical knowledge. -A valid driver's license. Must be able to obtain a US DOT Medical Card. -Operate a forklift. -Be able to follow assembly instructions. -Lift up to 80 lbs without assistance. -Ideal candidate must be reliable and able to multitask, manage time, communicate and have computer proficiency. -Candidate should demonstrate the ability to work with little supervision when necessary. -Own a basic set of appropriate tools.
