We are looking for an exceptional and collaborative leader for the position of Director of Human Resources who will report to the Executive Director and serve on the CES Cabinet. The HR Director will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management on all aspects of the human resources function across the agency. The HR Director will continue to develop and implement process improvements which support positive change as part of an organizational effort to create a more diverse and engaged workforce. Additionally, this individual coordinates, monitors, and evaluates all HR functions which includes supervising four talented HR team members. CES employs approximately 800 individuals across the state and this is the individual who ensures that their professional needs are addressed in ways which align with the agency’s strategic priorities, social justice and equity initiative, and its organizational values. This high profile position requires strong communication skills, the ability to influence and to develop proactive measures to mitigate and/or address complex human resource challenges.
