Couples Center of the Pioneer Valley - Northampton, MA 01060
$70-85 an hour - Part-time, minimum of 12 hours a week, including three nights per week. The position is ideal for someone who wants to work in a private practice setting without the hassle of finding referrals and running a practice.
You: A bright, hardworking, motivated licensed clinician looking to join a dynamic and supportive team atmosphere, in a busy group private practice setting. You are inspired and excited by learning new things and have an avid interest in working in a systems oriented model, collaboratively with others, as well as bringing your own particular blend of skills to the table. You have a minimum of 1 year post-licensure clinical experience and a high commitment to lifelong learning, teamwork, and professional growth. You hold a mental health license in the state of Massachusetts as a Ph.D, Psy.D., Ed.D., LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW, and are able to demonstrate experience and comfort with a wide range of issues, including trauma and addictions, and concerns unique to GLBTQ-identified clients.
You are ideally independently credentialed with at least one major insurance company ( BCBS, Tufts, UBH).Us: The Couples Center of the Pioneer Valley (CCPV) is dynamic, growing team-oriented small group practice focusing on treating relationship issues using the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy. The model incorporates attachment theory, differentiation theory and cutting edge neuroscience to harness developmental change in couples. We are a wonderful cozy home for clinicians who want to practice in a private practice but don't want the work and frustrations of running their own practice.
The position:
This position is for a minimum of 12 clinical hours per week and requires working at least three evenings per week, between the hours of 3:30 and 9 pm. For candidates interested in working beyond the 12 hour minimum weekly requirement, opportunity exists to expand the position, but evening hours must be maintained.
Training in the model, access to individual and team trainings and bi-weekly group consultation will be provided by a licensed Psychologist, LICSW, and/or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
