Description:
The Brattleboro Retreat has an exciting opportunity for licensed clinicians in the Birches Treatment Center, our intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs and other inpatient units.

Therapists in this program work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing clinical assessment, individual, group and family therapy and treatment and aftercare planning for adult patients struggling with mental health and addictions.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Strong clinical assessment and case management skills
• Experience in facilitating process, skill and/or experiential based therapy groups
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals
• Familiarity with diverse populations of individuals with mental health and addiction challenges
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Competency in utilizing electronic health systems
• Exceptional customer service skills

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing clinical/case management services to patients and their families in order to promote the optimal individual, interpersonal and social functioning of the patient and assure reintegration in to the community or the environment most suited to the patient’s continued well being.

Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from an accredited graduate school of Social Work or Master’s degree in counseling or other behavioral health discipline.

Social Worker II must have a valid Vermont LICSW, LMFT, LCMHC or LADC and Social Worker I should be license eligible in the state of Vermont.

For Social Worker I only, one to two years of inpatient social work experience preferred.

Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for day-to-day job performance.

Must accept a flexible 40-hour workweek scheduled to meet the needs of patients and families within the guidelines of the bargaining agreement.

Some working knowledge of computer skills including MS Word.
