Description:
Immediate opening for an innovative and creative Horticulture teacher to provide direct educational instruction to youth assigned to the Department of Youth Services.  We have one large greenhouse and several small gardens.   This is a regional summer position. We are looking for a passionate and collaborative teacher who is committed to working with youth who have been placed at risk.  We are a supportive team who offer teachers growth through coaching and continued professional development.  Classes are small and personalized with a focus on academic and behavioral success.  The right candidate will value professionalism, positive youth development, and culturally responsive teaching. Reliable vehicle / travel required.
