JOB DESCRIPTION
The Office Coordinator supports the mission and growth of Global Educators and its organizations. This person is responsible on a daily basis for ensuring the smooth operation of the office. This includes various administrative functions, with specific attention given to coordinating the mailings to ensure that materials are delivered promptly, and maintaining a reliable system for identifying inventory needs. Performs responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures. As part of the administrative team, the Office Coordinator provides high quality and timely support to the organizations within the consortium.

The Office Coordinator works directly under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources & Operations.

SPECIFIC DUTIES
--Frequently:
o Present a professional, welcoming first contact to all clients, vendors, staff, etc.
o Responsibility for development and implementation of efficient office processes
o Responsible for maintenance of common spaces for appearance and functionality
o Responsible for organizational functions and general meeting support: including maintaining meeting room schedules, securing food and supplies, copying, faxing
o Responsible for managing supplies and maintenance of storage areas
o Runs errands as needed
o Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail, shipping and receiving

--Occasionally:
o Pack and ship all marketing materials as requested
o Ensure successful, on-time delivery of mailroom materials
o Monitor organized mailroom marketing inventory and request orders as needed
o Trains seasonal help on mailroom operations, as needed
o Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
o High school diploma and 2 years of equivalent work experience
o Reliable transportation - you’ll often need to go to the post office, stores, and restaurants
o Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
