At Franklin Recovery Center in Greenfield, MA, the Nurse Manager strives to understand the clinical challenges of individuals seeking treatment and develop innovative care plans based on the complex and pervasive needs of individuals and their families with a focus on a strengths-based model. She/he is able to empathize and establish healthy therapeutic relationships, respecting and advocating for their patient’s rights and beliefs. Furthermore, the Nurse Manager is a leader within the Franklin Recovery Center, developing educational programs for and coaching nurses to ensure high quality of care in addition to resolving daily operational issues. The Nurse Manager also plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and accreditation agency standards. The Franklin Recovery Center serves those 18 years of age and older who are suffering from drug and alcohol addiction within the first 5-7 days of their recovery. The 32-bed program is also open to those who are under a court order to seek treatment. A 24-hour multidisciplinary team, including a Medical Director, a board-certified Family Physician, and an Addiction Medicine Physician, provides acute treatment and detoxification services.
