Description:
Program Director
Addiction Services: Orange Recovery House
Orange, MA
Full-time

We’re looking for a creative, highly organized, experienced leader with a solid background in substance addiction services to direct the program at our 17-bed Recovery House in Orange.

As Program Director for the Orange Recovery House, you would:
• Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate staff—helping them develop their own coaching and mentoring skills with the residents in our program.
• Be a stickler for details, making sure all records and policies are up to date and in order.
• Maintain a collaborative, respectful work environment, where staff’s ideas are welcome and everyone is committed to best practices in the field of recovery.

We work together at the program to create a sober living environment that is supportive and safe, and that encourages each person to live their best life and explore their potential. Coming in with at least a few years of experience in the substance addiction field, you also understand that recovery can be a challenging process. And you’re skilled at keeping your composure and holding the structure for the sake of everyone in the program. You have great communication skills; have earned trust as a supervisor in the roles you’ve held; have a natural flair for maintaining records and schedules and otherwise keeping things running smoothly; at least basic knowledge of budgets, medical records, and accounting; and are someone others turn to when they’re looking for help in solving a problem and making sound judgments. It would be great if you also have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferably including LADC/CADAC certification.

Though your work week will usually be Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm, you’ll have shared on-call responsibilities, plus periodic evening and/or weekend events to cover, so it’s important that your schedule can flex as needed. The salary range is $42,000-$50,000, and we offer excellent benefits including a generous time-off package; comprehensive, low-deductible health and dental insurance plans; a 403(B) retirement plan, with employer matching; paid life insurance; tuition assistance; and several more benefit options.
