Healthy Families Home Visitor

Community Action Pioneer Valley is seeking a hard-working and compassionate person to join the Hampshire County Healthy Families team. This nationally recognized family support and coaching program serves pregnant and parenting teens and their babies. Home Visitors provide intensive outreach and home-based services by completing assessments, developing goal plans, providing referrals and educating parents on child development & positive parenting. Experience serving families with infants and toddlers as well as working with culturally diverse populations required. Job duties include daily travel throughout Hampshire County as well as the completion of extensive web-based and paper documentation. Candidates must be able to work independently and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.

Candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, have reliable transportation, and be able to maintain a flexible schedule. Previous experience with home-visiting or parenting a plus!

Hourly pay range $16.50 - $17.50 depending on experience and education. Office location in Northampton, MA.
