Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as the Program Director of the Family and Individual Supports program at Behavioral Health Network! The Program Director ensures the overall quality of the program and the well-being of the individuals served. The Program Director oversees a team that provides case management supports to individuals with developmental disabilities who live with their families and in their own apartment. The Program Director ensures scheduling to meet individuals’ needs, ISP writing and implementation, budget management, liaison with other providers, families, and DDS, on call. Ensures the program adheres to licensing and funding source regulations and agency standards for quality care. The Program Director monitors the financial records of the program and individuals served to ensure compliance with program policies about financial records and billing requirements.

Additionally, the Program Director oversees the employees within the program, providing regular supervision, addressing disciplinary issues as needed, and writing annual performance evaluations. They work collaboratively with the Director of Support Services to identify staffing needs, screen and hire program staff and providers, and ensure all required staff trainings are completed. Finally, the Program Director serves as a primary liaison in communications with other BHN programs.

In the Family and Individual Supports program at BHN, we provide community based hourly support to individuals and their families in addition to 24-hour respite services for individuals with developmental disabilities. BHN values the individuals we serve. Each person we serve is part of a team that includes family, BHN staff, and other providers who work together to assess the individual’s needs and goals and then create and maintain a plan reflecting strengths, capabilities and desires.

Requirements:
The Program Director at Behavioral Health Network has the following qualities:
• Commitment to consumer empowerment, growth, human rights, and community integration (required).
• Working knowledge of DDS regulations (required).
• Familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems (required).
• At least five years experience in the human services field (required).
• At least two years supervisory experience (required).
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (required); Master’s degree (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable car available for working hours (required).
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
