The UPS Store in Northampton, MA has an immediate opening for a retail sale associate / clerk. We are seeking a responsible and dependable employee who thrive in customer service and excels in working with the public.
The open position is for about 25-30 hrs per week. The UPS Store is a privately owned family franchise.
Hours of Operation: Monday 8am-6pm and Saturday 9am-5pm. Sunday- Closed
Morning and afternoon shifts available
Required: 2 Saturday shifts / month once trained.
Scope of job:
-Tendering shipping services i.e. UPS, USPS, and DHL
-Copying and printing services
-Mail sorting
-Inventory restocking
-Fielding phone calls and emails from customers
-Cash / Credit handling
-Selling a variety of products and services
-Packaging of a variety of items to be shipped including antiques, electronics, dish ware, you name it. |
Requirements: | -2 years of customer service experience
- Excellent computer skills
- Point of Sale proficiency
- Positive daily attitude
- Works well on a team
-Prior retail experience preferred. |
