Description:
Amherst Cognitive Therapy is growing! We are seeking an independently licensed psychotherapist or psychologist with experience in evidence based practices (CBT, DBT, ERP, ACT).

Position Description: Amherst Cognitive Therapy is a small, well-established practice located in the beautiful and vibrant Amherst/Northampton “five-college area” of Western Massachusetts. We provide cognitive-behavioral therapy for anxiety and mood disorders.

The position will include a comfortable caseload, specialized weekly supervision and training in CBT, and provides autonomy for clinical practice with the support of ongoing training and professional development. Opportunities exist to develop your own areas of interest within the scope of evidence based practices.

This is a fee-for-service position. At least one evening per week and/or weekend hours are required. Pay is commensurate with licensure status and experience. Requirements: Applicants must be independently licensed mental health professionals with experience providing individual psychotherapy. Must have at least minimal training and experience in CBT and a passion for developing advanced CBT skills through supervision, reading, attending trainings and conferences, etc. A particular interest in working with OCD is ideal, other evidenced-based therapy training (DBT/ACT) is a plus. The ideal candidate is flexible, communicative, and growth-minded.
