The P&G Service Worker will be responsible for cleaning and minor maintenance work of The Yankee Candle Village Store to ensure a pleasant environment for both guests and staff. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance related duties to both the interior space and exterior grounds. • Provide customer service by way of sales, product restock, advice, and assistance to our guests. • Conduct preventative maintenance programs for all related P&G equipment. • Safe operation of a variety of power tools such as drills and saws, as well as common hand tools such as screwdrivers and hammers. • Drive and operate power equipment, including All-Terrain vehicles, lawn tractors, and snowblowers. • Work with various personnel to assist with setup for company events. Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or equivalent. • 1-2 years of related experience. • A valid driver’s license and good driving record is required. • Mechanical ability to perform preventative equipment maintenance. • Custodial experience to include maintaining a professional floor care program such as VCT, Marmoleum, and carpet. • Ability to stand for extended periods of time. • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds on a frequent basis. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
