Salary Range: Location: Per Year PITTSFIELD MA Job Type: Category: Full Time Human Services Education Level: Work Experience: High School or Equivalent Preference: Required Up to One Year Preference: Required Skills/Certifications/Licences: class d driver's license - Preference: Nice to have Description: Position: Direct Care/Overnight Sleep Staff Full-Time Location: Pittsfield, MA Rate of Pay: $14 per hour / sleep rate is $11.22 per hour (between 12am-6am) Hours: 32 hours per week Schedule: Saturday – Tuesday; 11pm-7am (12am-6am sleep) Full-time Direct Care/ Overnight Sleep Staff Summary: The Overnight Sleep Staff is available during overnight shifts to support to individuals with disabilities. This position exists to ensure the safety and well-being of residents during their sleep hours. The staff is permitted to sleep in designated area while residents are sleeping but must be able to be awakened. If any unforeseen issue arises, the staff is responsible to take action and must be ready to perform duties of work as assigned to direct care position. S/he implements the organization’s mission and values by supporting individuals to make positive changes in their lives. Requirements: Full-time Direct Care/ Overnight Sleep Staff Qualifications: High School/GED or HiSet required. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to use computer systems and programs including the Electronic Health Record. Ability to be flexible about job schedules as they pertain to program participants needs. Full-time Direct Care/ Overnight Sleep Staff Requirements: Demonstrated competencies specific to job position. Demonstrated knowledge and skill in core trainings such as First Aid, CPR, Health & Safety, and Human Rights. Must participate in mandatory trainings. Must be able to lift and transfer consumers with assistance as needed.
