Description:
The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) is currently seeking a Program Lead/Teacher at Mt. Tom Academy (located on the campus of Holyoke Community College) to provide daily leadership, supervision and oversight for all program facets & program staff. They will also design individual learning plans that include culturally responsive lessons and reflect individual student academic needs. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, secondary level Massachusetts teacher license required. Successful candidates may be eligible for loan forgiveness.

Highlights of What You Will Do:

Design individualized learning plans for students to meet their local graduation requirements.

Support students in both an online self directed learning platform and through small group lessons.

Provide real world connections to learning through community outreach and activities.

Integrate individual student background information when designing instruction based on learning style and/or needed accommodations.

Coordinate with school district personnel, families, and guardians to achieve student success.

Lead a small team of like minded staff to create a community of care that is supportive to students who have not found success in traditional school settings.
