Description:
Girls Inc. of the Valley is accepting resumes for an Elementary School Program Facilitator working directly with girls ages 5-12 in our EEC-licensed after-school program. We are seeking creative, energetic individuals who are passionate about inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.

Requirements:
Reporting to the Mariposa Center Director, the Elementary School Program Facilitator will be part of a team that is responsible for program development and delivery, facilitation of Girls Inc. curricula, group management and supervision to upwards of 50 elementary school girls in a fast-paced, high energy, hands on environment. Additionally, facilitator should expect to assist with front desk/ reception duties as assigned.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of experience working in an educational or youth development setting. Interested applicants should be comfortable in an active setting and be a creative individual with a desire to laugh and learn with youth. Current college students or recent graduates exploring careers in education, social work, non-profit management, psychology, women’s studies, or science, are encouraged to apply. Valid driver’s license preferred. Driver credentialing and CORI checks required. Qualified Section 3 residents are encouraged to apply. Bilingual Spanish/English a plus. EOE
