Channel your passion to motivate and empower those in substance abuse recovery in the Western Massachusetts community!

Become a part of a team of competent and caring professionals as a Counselor at Behavioral Health Network! Within BHN’s Hope Center program, Counselors support the growth, independence, and safety of the individuals they serve through direct and indirect services. Counselors work with their clients to document their individual comprehensive assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, oversee and provide guidance and direct counseling, and facilitate diverse psycho-educational groups for the individuals served. Working as a team with other Counselors, they oversee the activities and services provided to individuals to ensure compliance and to provide the best recovery-based environment possible.

Counselors at the Hope Center also monitor the quality of services with the Program Director, Clinical Supervisor, and Senior Counselor; they complete documentation and forms regarding individuals and their care in a timely fashion. They recognize and follow through with licensing, funding, safety, and maintenance concerns in addition to providing transportation, crisis intervention, and emergency services when needed. Finally, in the best interests of the individuals served at the Hope Center, Counselors maintain appropriate verbal and written communication with other staff. Counselors will learn to work as a collaborative team with the goal of delivering high quality sound clinical treatment. Counselors will grow through ongoing training and firsthand experience that will enhance their skills and provide additional employment opportunities.

At Behavioral Health Network’s Hope Center, we believe in the unique strengths, skills, and empowerment of the individual to motivate their treatment and recovery in our 30-day post detoxification and stabilization services.
