Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Support Specialist in the Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) program at Behavioral Health Network! Support Specialists provide direct and indirect services that support growth, promote the independence, and ensure the safety of individuals served in all settings. Support Specialists assist and monitor activities of daily living, including overall health and well-being of individuals as well as all aspects of medication treatment and administration. Additionally, Support Specialists plan and provide community activities to help individuals maintain and enhance their social support network and build stronger relationships with family. Support Specialists also provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed.

Completing health and medication-related documents in accordance with MAP regulations, Support Specialists document ongoing information and reviews to support treatment and ISP/PSTP goals and objectives. They perform normal cleaning and maintenance with or without the assistance of individuals. Finally, Support Specialists provide safe and timely transportation to individuals for appointments, activities, errands, etc., as well as attractive, well-balanced meals and snacks.

Requirements:
Support Specialists at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:
• Commitment to empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration of Individuals/persons served.
• Minimum of six months experience in human services (preferred).
• High school diploma or G.E.D. (required).
• Valid driver's license and a reliable car available for working hours (required).
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs.
• Training is provided by BHN.
