Description:
Seeking a tinkerer/fixer with strong maintenance and facilities management experience to ensure smooth operations of our buildings, grounds, equipment and vehicles. The operations coordinator is responsible for making sure we have the tools we need to meet our mission, and will play a key role as our programs grow. 40 hrs/week. Requirements:
Qualifications

Basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and automotive.

Demonstrated ability and prior experience operating tools, machinery, and delivery vehicles, including box truck lift gates, industrial lifts, pallet jacks, power tools, etc.

Prior experience overseeing facilities, operations and complex projects.

Excellent organizational skills and project management experience.

Demonstrated initiative and problem solving.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills: ability to work in teams, supervise volunteers and effectively coordinate with contractors.

Ability to multi-task, follow-through and meet deadlines.

Valid driver’s license, safe driving record and ability to be insured under agency policy.

Proficiency with email, internet, and Microsoft Office suite. Basic competency/ability to learn new computer programs required.
