Description: | Are you ready to expand your knowledge while helping students within local schools?
Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Therapeutic Classroom Clinician at the Social/Emotional/Behavioral Support (SEBS) program at Behavioral Health Network! The Therapeutic Classroom Clinician will provide clinically sound and culturally sensitive consultation to students and teachers supporting students in the Springfield Public School District. Therapeutic Classroom Clinicians will be providing intake evaluations with clinical formulations and recommendations based on clinical principals and judgment for the students, their families and collaterals. It will be the Clinician’s responsibility to work with community resources and help clients access the resources.
Full-time employment is possible by combining work in the SEBS program with work in the Outpatient clinic.
The SEBS program is a school multidisciplinary team working within a social-emotional behavioral supportive classroom. Behavioral Health Network is a growing non-profit community behavioral health agency that has been providing services to children, adults, families and communities in Western Massachusetts since 1938. Requirements: | Therapeutic Classroom Clinicians at BHN have the following qualities:
• Master's degree in related field (required).
• Licensed or actively working towards a license (required).
• Broad knowledge of mental illness and treatment, particularly severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents.
• School-based work experience (preferred).
