Description:

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
Customer Service
Prepare quality food for daily retail sales and catering
Use and maintain recipe books
Assisting customers with questions or directing them to someone who can assist
Sales
Cleaning/Sanitation
Answering telephones
Teamwork & communication
Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment

KEY JOB DUTIES (not exhaustive)
Maintain regular and prompt attendance at worksite
Perform other duties as assigned
Create and maintain appealing food presentation
Participate in promoting new items, bought, or produced with an emphasis on local and seasonal
Assist in creating new case items on a regular basis for review by department managers, store owners and upper
management.

Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods of time. Sense of smell & taste. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (gloves, hat, apron, slip resistant shoes etc.)

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The deli kitchen can be hot and humid in the spring/summer and warm in the winter.
