Connecting police departments to behavioral health training through statewide regional TTAC Centers!

Become a part of our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Program Coordinator in the Massachusetts Center for Law Enforcement Behavioral Health Training! The Program Coordinator helps with the implementation of behavioral health-related trainings for law enforcement, responding to their questions, comments, and concerns. Program Coordinators conduct strategic planning of training needs and participate in implementing regionalized training curriculum plans. They work with community partners and stakeholders to gather information and provide support.
Additionally, the Program Coordinator manages the operations and functions of the program as well as supervising administrative staff. The Program Coordinator also attends staff and statewide CIT-TTAC meetings, seminars, and trainings as appropriate, and maintains their knowledge of CIT and related trends.

Requirements:
Program Coordinators at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities:
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling or related field (preferred).
Strong organizational and networking skills.
Knowledge of the Recovery Oriented model.
Knowledge of de-escalation skills and able to effectively teach and utilize de-escalation skills.
Knowledge of CIT program model (preferred).
Familiarity with internet, word processing, desktop publishing, presentation software, and email systems.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team and follow through on individual tasks.
Ability to establish rapport and collaborate with community partners.
Supervisory experience.
Experience collaborating with law enforcement (preferred).
Experience in training development, coordination, and facilitation (preferred).
Experience in community collaborations at state, regional, and local levels (preferred).
