This includes providing individual counseling sessions, collaborates and serves as a resource for providers, nurses and other program staff, organizes individual and group education sessions on nutritional principals and dietary plans adapted to the individual’s lifestyle, economic and cultural needs; develops culturally appropriate educational materials on nutritional issues for use with individual patients and community health education programs. Requirements: A Bachelor’s or higher in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited college and RD required. A current MA Dietitian/Nutritionist license required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly desired. At least 1-2 years experience working in a community health center setting preferred; experience and understanding of issues related to primary health care, prevention and health education helpful.
