RELIEF COUNSELORS
Hampshire, Hampden and Franklin Counties

Relief Counselors are the backbone of our organization and assist our Developmental/Brain Injury Services (DBIS) clients with their day to day needs, in comfortably furnished residential homes.
This opportunity is a flexible position that allows you to work across multiple programs and locations. This is a great opportunity for students pursuing a degree in human services or a related field, to gain experience and exposure. Or just make some extra cash! Relief counselors will be reliable and empathetic individuals, who are willing to jump in and help out where ever they are needed. Must be able to work 20 hours per week.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working with the developmentally disabled and/or brain injured populations
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Physical ability to perform the requirements of the position and CPR.
• Basic Computer Skills
• Ability to commit to at least 20 hours per week.


BENEFITS/COMPENSATION:
In addition to being a progressive and a cutting-edge human services agency, we offer a starting wage of $13.50/hr., paid training in CPR/First Aid, and Applied Non-Violence (ANV). There is plenty of opportunity for advancement.
