Program & Office Coordinator
United Way of the Franklin & Hampshire Region: United Way of Franklin County and United Way of Hampshire County are planning to merge to form United Way of the Franklin & Hampshire Region this year.

Place of Work: Greenfield, MA

Working hours: 37.5 Hour Work Week & Flexible Schedule

Job description: The Office & Program Coordinator is responsible for board of directors and board committee management; general office management and bookkeeper support; and support for our grants and programs. Details include:

Grants & Programs

Manage Diaper Bank, including deliveries/pick-ups with partners and communications.

Support for the reading program.

Support for annual grants process, convening of partner agencies, and communications with partner agencies and volunteers.

Maintain and update grants management databases with CI Manager

Board & Committee Support: Provide administrative/secretarial support to the Board, its Directors, committees, subcommittees and volunteers. This includes: developing & distributing the Board packets, minutes, and materials; general correspondence; maintaining core governing documents such as bylaws, membership lists, and board policy documents; and administrative support for the Annual Meeting and other events.

General Administration: Support general operations of offices including tracking supplies and taking orders, scheduling conference room, assisting with bank deposits, picking up the mail, etc.
Requirements:
Previous administrative experience, preferably in a non-profit setting

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or three years related experience

Significant proficiency with Databases and Microsoft Office Suite

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Experience handling confidential information appropriately

Closely follow systems and protocols, while juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines

Eagerness to take initiative, solve-problems, and contribute positively to the team

Comfort and ease with technology

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Sense of humor, passion and commitment to the community

This job requires frequent lifting, carrying, walking and use of stairs
