Early Intervention Clinician/ Social Worker

Position Highlights:
UCP is hiring! Are you an enthusiastic and experienced clinician seeking a rewarding career with children and families? We are seeking a Early Intervention Clinician to provide behavioral therapy and mental health support and teach parenting skills to parents/caregivers of children served in the early intervention, in individual group settings, or play therapy sessions using a family centered approach. These children are between the ages of birth and three years whose development is at risk by certain biological or environmental factors. Duties will include but are not limited to:
Provide social/emotional and family assessments for children birth to 3 in our Early Intervention Program.
Provide individual, family and group psychotherapy through home or center visits.
Provide consultation to community agencies. Co-facilitate psychosocial, developmental groups for children birth to 3. Participate in team evaluations and the development of IFSP's for children/families referred to the Early Intervention Program.
Assist with UCP activities as requested.

Master's degree and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCS) or:
Licensed Independent Social Worker by the MA registry of Social Work,
Master's degree from an accredited institution in counseling psychology, clinical psychology, developmental psychology or education psychology.
Current licensure as a LMHC, LMFT or licensure eligible
Must be certified as an EI Specialist by MA Department of Public Health (MDPH) or be eligible to be certified within 3 years.
Excellent oral and presentation skills, working knowledge of community resources, working knowledge of computers.
In accordance with MDPH regulations, a pre-employment exam including a statement of physical limitations in working with children, a negative Mantoux TB test or a clear chest x-ray and evidence of immunity for measles, mumps and rubella is required.
Must be able to climb, stoop, get up and down from floors, reach with hands and arms as well a lift and move up to 40 pounds.
Must have valid driver's license, current auto insurance, availability of a private vehicle.
Must have an acceptable CORI, SORI and National Fingerprint Check.
