Description:
Western New England University is seeking a Working Supervisor to oversee and direct the daily activities of its Transportation/Mechanical Department. Must be skilled and experienced in all aspects of diagnosis and repair of a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, tractors, golf carts, mowers, and other large and medium size power equipment and vehicles. Specific duties include assigning, instructing and approving the work of all departmental mechanics, maintaining all university vehicles/equipment, recommending/purchasing replacement vehicles and equipment, overseeing the field portion of the university’s snow removal process and the hiring, training, supervising and evaluating of departmental employees.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will be ASE Certified with a solid working knowledge of auto and equipment maintenance and repair, five to ten years pertinent experience in a similar setting, and possess a valid driver’s license.
