About the Position: Position: Maintenance Technician Location: Springfield, MA Rate of Pay: $18.00 Hours: 40 hours per week Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm Summary: The Maintenance Technician works to fulfill Viability’s mission to build a world where individuals with disabilities are able to realize their full potential. The Maintenance Technician works under direct supervision to support the Facilities Manager in meeting the maintenance and safety needs of the organization. Qualifications: • High School/GED plus 1-year related experience and/or training • Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and a reliable vehicle • Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices, and community organizations • Must be able to lift, move, and manipulate equipment frequently throughout the day.
