Description:
Mental Health Outreach Counselor
Hampshire Team 2
Full-time

We’re looking for people to join our team who have a passion for helping people in mental health recovery. Collaborating with colleagues and organizations in the community, we all work together to support each program participant in meeting his or her unique goals and needs.


As an Outreach Counselor, you will:

• Assist people in achieving their treatment plan goals
• Provide help in securing benefits and other resources
• Accompany people to appointments, and
• Provide coaching related to activities of daily living

You are friendly, confident, resourceful, and you easily connect with all kinds of people. Comfortable using a computer for record-keeping and other purposes, you may already have some experience in the mental health field. Having a Bachelor’s degree or MAP certified would also be a plus. And since you will be covering a lot of territory in any given week, you need to have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-11pm
Total 40hrs

Pay & Benefits

We offer a wage of $15.00/hour—plus a $0.75 wage differential for Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification. We provide paid orientation and training for certification in Medication Administration Program (MAP), CPR & First Aid, and Proactive Approaches to Behavioral Challenges (PABC) if applicable.
