Our goal is to provide the best service possible, not only to customers, but also our fabricators. We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Exhibit Case Design Department.
We are looking for a problem solver with the versatility to develop new solutions to our clients’ challenges, a person who can create descriptive blueprints, models and assemblies for manufacturing using Solidworks 3D CAD. Our project steps frequently include conceptual design, testing/prototyping, manufacturing drawings, and follow-up revisions. We have standard designs, but we also design and fabricate lots of unique items based on ideas and hand-drawn sketches.
The ideal candidate will be proactive and possess high-energy enthusiasm for providing our customers and manufacturing with the best CAD documents and illustrations. We’ve worked with institutions throughout the world including the American Museum of Natural History, Harvard University, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, Walt Disney Imagineering and a whole lot more!

Solidworks 3D a must! BS & 3+ years practical experience preferred, but are willing to train the right candidate. We put high value in collaborating as a team and helping support other departments here at SmallCorp so excellent communication skills are also a must.
