Description: | The "Dear Edwina, Jr." Co-Musical Theater Director/Vocal oversees the Academy of Music Theatre’s youth production. The position will collaborate with Co-Musical Theater Director/Choreographer on the production. During the Academy’s youth production, the co-director works with the technical director on production needs. The Co-Musical Theater Director/Vocal Coach is also responsible for organizing and managing props and costumes for the youth production, "Dear Edwina, Jr."Must be available for all rehearsals, tech week and shows. Rehearsals begin January 5, 2023 and run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm-7pm. Show dates are March 9 & 10, 2023. - Plan, develop and execute youth production in keeping with the strategy and brand of the Academy of Music Theatre
- Build strong relationships with students and their families
- Manage production and intern support staff

Requirements: | - Minimum of 3 years proven leadership education experience in a theatre or school environment
- Experience working with children ages 9-16 representing a diverse population
- Ability to direct large groups of children in a fun and engaging manner
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Excellent management and organizational skills
